I graduated college with a National Diploma in IT and Network Specialist, where I built a strong foundational understanding of core IT concepts. The course introduced me to advanced technologies, with a specific focus on Networking and Microsoft infrastructure.
In 2020, I started my career from the ground up as an IT Technician in the ISP/Networking industry. From there, I moved into an FMCG company as internal IT support, eventually advancing to the role of IT Systems and Networking Administrator. Over three years in this position, my knowledge and hands-on experience grew exponentially as I worked across a vast range of IT areas: Cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, automation, networking, and end-user support.
During this time, I completed multiple large-scale projects that significantly improved the company's workflows, security posture, and collaboration capabilities. Projects included migrating the organization fully to SharePoint, implementing Microsoft Defender as their complete security stack, and building automated approval workflows.
I then took on the role of Senior Engineer at a US-based MSP, where I tackled advanced escalated issues for clients. This experience sharpened my ability to troubleshoot complex problems and exposed me to a wide array of technology solutions and systems.
By understanding core concepts and fundamentals, I help businesses transform their IT landscape into something that truly works for them. IT systems — and specifically AI — are extremely powerful when set up and used correctly.
